Dr. Tojan Rahhal is a scientist and engineer with a passion for an inclusive world! She has developed several award-winning programs and curriculums to address diversity and inclusion in STEM, as well as obtained certifications in cultural competence assessments. She was recently identified as a Leader in Diversity by the Triangle Business Journal in 2021. She was also recognized as a Women of Color History Maker in Diversity for her leadership in efforts to catalyze change to help [engineering] students from underrepresented populations overcome historic barriers. Dr. Rahhal’s experience in strategic planning, particularly for groups who wish to develop a robust plan and implementation for diversity, inclusion, and equity as well as individual team member development shapes her services at Alliance.
